Position Summary:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the CMMS Coordinator is an important part of the maintenance team by ensuring the preventative maintenance program is managed and maintained effectively. The CMMS Coordinator will be responsible for the scheduling of maintenance activities necessary to ensure production remain at best levels.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update equipment database and preventative maintenance program.
- Provide data collection procedures, forms, and checklists to support data inputs into service maintenance management database.
- Provide monitoring and reporting for PM, CM, RM work order performance and adherence to service delivery.
- Advise management team of issues, concerns, or noncompliance to standard.
- Issue routine and corrective work orders, track to ensure timely completion, close out work orders and bring forward outstanding items or anomalies as required.
- Receive job plan updates, input changes into the system, issue and communicate changes to field teams.
- Update preventative maintenance schedules based on critical assets.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Planning team when scheduling PM work.
- Generate reports to review Technician workload with team and managers.
- Provide suggestions on applicable job plans based on asset or job requirements.
- Generate data and prepares various reports to managers and team.
- Review reports and communicate observations and recommendations to operations team.
- Provide training to CMMS end users.
- Generate customized, standard and ad-hoc reports, ensuring they are issued within required time frames.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- 1+ year of maintenance experience in food manufacturing
- Diploma or equivalent in Maintenance
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficient with MS Office suite applications along with ability to quickly learn new software applications and information systems
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Possess strong customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others for the purpose of data exchange, clarification and follow up
- Ability to capture work procedures provided by others accurately and prepare accurate job plans
- Ability to create accurate maintenance schedules based on contract requirements
- Mechanical or electrical license and JDE experience is an asset

Physical Demands:
Regularly requires intermittent sitting, standing, walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling. Physical strength and dexterity sufficient to perform the required task(s). Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more with assistance. Additional demands may be required.
Work Environment:
In addition to normal business hours, work schedules may include after hours and weekends as needed. May work outside and in adverse temperatures which include extreme hot, cold, and humidity. Must be willing and able to wear personal protective equipment as required by established Company Safety standards.
