HIRING PROCESS

1. Apply

  • Search for and apply to jobs that match your skills and experience.
  • Be sure to attach an updated resume and fill out all fields on the application, including your most recent work history.

2. Review

  • A Recruiter and/or Hiring Manager will review your resume and application to determine if there is a potential fit. 
  • The recruiter will then schedule an introductory screening with you via phone, Zoom and/or other communication and advise you of next steps in the interview process.

3. Interview

  • A member of the HR team will reach out to schedule a phone, virtual, or on-site panel- style interview(s) with the hiring team.
  • For positions working in a manufacturing facility, a site tour will also be conducted as part of the interview process.

4. Offer

  • Once a hiring decision has been made, the Hiring Manager or Human Resources will reach out to you to extend a formal offer.

5. Background Check Process

  • Your offer is contingent upon being able to successfully pass a background check, pre-employment physical (if applicable), and drug screening.
  • Once you have accepted the offer, you will be contacted by Human Resources to start the process for the above pre-hire screenings.

6. Hire

  • You will be contacted by the Hiring Manager with details for your first day.
  • Each employee goes through a formal orientation and onboarding process in order to set them up for a successful start to their new position at Ventura Foods!
