Maintenance Parts Clerk - 2nd Shift

Position Summary:
Provide administrative assistance to the Maintenance department including, but not limited to the following items listed below.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform new equipment additions to JDE
Add requested parts into MRO. Maintain tracking tool and report
Organize Maintenance Documentation and Maintenance Library
Perform Critical Parts Audits for Lines and Equipment and adds to MRO as needed
Evaluates inventory levels, and originates purchase requisitions and/or purchase orders to vendors for parts and services as required.
Perform Work Order Time Entry as needed
Serve as a Fire Watch as needed during Hot Work
Assists Maintenance Planner with Cycle Counts. Performs Parts Organization of MRO parts. Purges out old Parts, creates and modifies Bin locations as needed.
Receive daily shippments of MRO and parts ordered into JDE / EAM system
Responsible for following all Food Safety policies, procedures and regulatory criterion including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated Preventive Controls.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Previous work experience; Parts Attendant, Receiver, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Knowledge and Skills:
Good understanding of Ventura EAM software including, but not limited to JDE, AS400
Excellent teamwork skills
Organizational and Computer skills are a requirement.
Must be able to follow instructions and work independently.
Must have good reasoning abilities in making work-related decisions.
Must be physically able to perform the duties of the job including lifting up to 50 lbs
Requires good hand/eye coordination.
Must have excellent math skills (decimals, fractions and percentages.)

Typical shifts are 8-12 hours per day. Additional unscheduled time after hours and on weekends may also be required. Employees must be willing and able to wear personal protective equipment as required by Company policy and/or legal requirements. In addition, certain jobs may require employees to:
- Work outside and/or in adverse temperatures which could include extreme heat, cold, and humidity;
- Be exposed to vibrations, chemicals used in operations, fumes and food allergens (may include soy, dairy and other allergens); and
- Be required to work in confined and dark spaces, and at heights in excess of 18 feet.
