Position Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager, Ingredients is responsible for achieving the sales objectives within an assigned territory,, and working with customers such as food manufacturers, meal assemblers, commissaries, and bakery distributors.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own the relationship with food manufacturer accounts within the territory to achieve the Company's sales objectives. Activities include regular customer meetings, management of pricing communication, product development, and oil contracting. Partner with Product Mgmt., Trade Mgmt., R&D, Marketing Category Mgmt., and Leadership to align on customer-specific plans.
- Collaborate with internal teams to prospect for and pursue new opportunities within the territory.
- Work with Customer Success, R&D and Product Commericalization teams to develop and launch innovation with manufacturer customers.
- Partner with Risk Management and Oil Trading teams to design, execute, and maintain oil contracing strategies with key customers as needed. Manage the contracting process and regularly maintain/communicate contract positions to customers.
- Regularly update and maintain Velocity (CRM) to progress opportunities through the system and ensure plans are up to date, thereby giving visibility to the organization.
- Review sales results, open projects, and support needed with Director monthly.
- Participate in regular team calls as appropriate (team, broader team, town halls, etc.), as well as key meetings, such as full team MYM and annual meeting.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, preferably selling to customers within the food manufacturing or broader food industry; experience in the bakery segment is a plus!
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business, etc. and/or equivalent experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Must be comfortable engaging with the customer at all levels.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, but also collaborate as part of a team.

- Proficiency with CRM systems and other technology to support a digital/virtual sales process (MS Office Suite, etc.).

- Salary Base Range of $116,714.15 - $184,559.45*
- Annual bonus (based on the incentive program terms and conditions)
