Position Summary:
The Learning & Development Manager is responsible for designing, delivering, and sustaining impactful learning experiences that build leadership capability and support business priorities across Ventura Foods. This role partners closely with business leaders and HR stakeholders to identify learning needs, design scalable solutions, and deliver engaging, high-quality learning programs across modalities. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of program design, facilitation, learning technology expertise, and consultative partnership, with the ability to create highly interactive learning experiences for leaders at all levels.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learning Program Design & Delivery: Manage the full lifecycle of leadership programs, from design and launch to sustainment and continuous improvement.
- Design and curate innovative programs, workshops, and blended learning experiences that are practical, experiential, and role relevant for leaders at all levels.
- Facilitate engaging and highly interactive in-person and virtual learning sessions.
- Develop an end-to-end communication plan and collaborate with managers of participants to increase learning application, focused on change management and impact of training programming.
- Define success metrics for leadership programs and evaluate impact using data, feedback, and business outcomes.
- Consultative Partnership & Needs Analysis: Serve as a trusted advisor on leadership development trends, methods, and best practices. Partner with leaders and HRBPs to conduct consultative learning needs conversations.
- Diagnose root causes and recommend development solutions.
- Partner with external learning providers as needed.
- Digital Learning & Learning Technology: Use LMS, LXP, and digital learning tools.
- Develop digital learning assets using tools such as Articulate, Captivate, etc.
- Create self-paced learning journeys.
- Create SharePoint-style learning hubs.

This role requires approximately 25% travel for in‑person facilitation, stakeholder meetings, and program delivery.
Education and Experience:
- 5–7+ years of experience in a Learning Manager or similar role required.
- High school diploma required.
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience designing and deploying leadership development programs.
- Experience with LMS and digital learning tools.
- Onboarding program design and deployment, preferred.
- Implementing and/or using LXP technology, preferred.
- Talent management processes (performance management, succession planning, executive coaching, assessment, etc.), preferred.
- Oracle LMS & HRIS, preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Articulate, Captivate, or other authoring software; AI tools such as Synthesia; and video capture tools such as Vocal Video to create engaging digital learning content.
- Facilitation of in‑person and virtual learning sessions using strong delivery and learner‑engagement techniques.
- Project and program management to plan, organize, and execute learning initiatives and manage timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables.
- Writing communications and creating job aids and program materials that clearly support learners and program objectives.
- Applying instructional design principles and adult learning theory to develop effective learning experiences.
- Program survey and impact measurement to evaluate effectiveness, gather insights, and improve learning programs.

- Salary Base Range of $92,460.65 - $144,461.14*
- Annual bonus (based on the incentive program terms and conditions)
