Position Summary:
Customer facing supply leader that would provide supply chain expertise resulting in cost avoidance and accelerate product commercialization for restoration of confidence in Ventura as a trusted supplier. Provide proactive supply chain assessments focused on driving efficiencies. Internal specialized translator, communicator and educator of national account (customers) needs to Ventura supply chain by understanding plant operations, capacity, capabilities.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the "Sales" Project Commercialization System (PCS), providing guidance and leadership on complex projects, accelerating project delivery. Act as the center of excellence in setting up projects, tracking and delivering optimum experience (Margin enhancement, cost optimization and customer initiative).
- Act as lead and center of excellence for the Sales team across Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process:
- Forecasting and inventory proces:
- Reviewing inventory projections and assure safety stock and contractual obligations are met.
- Replace Sales Manager role in inventory review process.
- Coordinate inventory depletion of raw and finished goods on discontinued SKU's
- Forecasting and inventory proces:
- Limited time offers (LTO) inventory management:
- Lead inventory ramp up for LTO product launches, safety stock strategy and SKU sunsetting by effectively collaborating with customers and Ventura Foods Supply Chain teams.
- Proactively identify and communicate supply chain savings opportunities by work directly with key customer supply chain contacts.
- Proactively communicate with sales and customers regarding anticipated disruptions, major supply issues, along with details of cause and resolution.
- Lead external crisis management communication for unique situations (i.e., creamy fry oil/shortening disruption due to equipment failure).
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years experience working in sales, marketing, Supply Chain, Project Management or customer service capacity, (preferably in food service/ retail foodservice industry), and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Critical thinking path" capability required.
- Project management skills.
- Analytical problem solving.
- Aptitude for investigation, research and resolution.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, & Power Point required.
- Ability to utilize programs (AS400, Data Tracker, BI, JDE, Legacy, SharePoint) to assist in tracking and monitoring required.
- Strong organizational and decision making skills to meet deadlines and achieve successful results.
- Must have strong communication skills both written and oral.

- Salary Base Range of $86,404.40 - $134,453.02*
- Annual bonus (based on the incentive program terms and conditions)
