A/P Coordinator

Position Summary:

Process all accounts payable for the division.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Sets accounts payable department priorities.
Researches accounts payable problems and resolves discrepancies
Enters credit journal entries
Solves PO/Receiver problems as they occur.
Performs month end activities as they occur.
Resolves and assists in any discrepancies with Headquarters Accounting.
Responsible for following all Food Safety policies, procedures and regulatory criterion including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated Preventive Controls.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivelant required
1-2 years experience in accounts payable preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

Good mathematical ability, ability to define and solve problems, collect data, and to relay all information to interested parties. Strong research and investigative skills required. Must be detailed oriented and able to work independently.

Houlry Base Range of $18.87 - $28.33*
