Production Associate

Pay Rate: Starting at $15.50/hour - with $1,000 Sign-On Bonus!

Position Summary:

Join Ventura Foods as a Production Associate! You’ll play a key role in operating our filling line to ensure timely product completion for customer orders. We are committed to maintaining a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

Various shifts are available, including traditional 1st and 2nd shifts and rotating 12 hours shifts.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Package finished products, including assembling boxes, sealing cases, and labeling.
Operate filling line and packaging equipment, performing quality checks during production.
Monitor product cases for weight accuracy and report any equipment issues.
Maintain a clean work area and adhere to food safety regulations, including SQF and GMPs.
Complete daily production reports and assist with equipment operation as needed.
Support various tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
Self-motivated with good judgment and decision-making skills.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Regularly engage in sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Willingness to work in various conditions, including extreme temperatures, exposure to caustic chemicals, dark spaces for prolonged periods of time, and heights in excess of 18 feet and wearing personal protective equipment.
Weekends and after-hours may be required.
