Position Summary:
The Senior Manager Finance and HR Applications role is responsible for guiding the HCM and ERP systems platform and other applications in the finance and HR functional areas technologically, strategically, and operationally, by bringing strong leadership to the enterprise. The Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR and Financial applications within the organization. This role will set and execute on a strategic vision and roadmap for the organization by collaborating with stakeholders and executive leadership. The role will act as a strategic thought partner and liaison between several cross functional teams. As a leader of the team, you have a direct impact on design, standards, security, and feature enhancements. This leader is responsible for selecting, developing, and retaining leading-edge talent, as well as ensuring the team has the skills and capabilities to meet business needs. The position will establish and drive delivery for all Financial and HR system capabilities in alignment with a multi-year Product Roadmap. You will work across functions – Applications, Architecture , Data , Stakeholders – to develop strategic vision and adherence to overall IT strategy and vision. You will manage multiple delivery teams and ensure compliance with standards and policies. You will stay ahead of changing technologies and demonstrate experience with clean interfaces and successful user journeys.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create a platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders. Product Management of ERP (JDE, AS400, Oracle etc.) and HCM (SuccessFactors, Workday etc.) systems as well as integrations to adjacent enterprise applications and third-party applications. Responsible for building and implementing innovative customer strategies around customer engagement, data insights and digital channels. Leading efforts with HR Center of Expertise partners to deliver integrated HR services and solutions tailored to the client group.
- Manage a team of administrators, developers, analysts, and coordinators who will code and operate systems to directly support our business team responsible for Corporate Finance and HR Functions. Accountable for ensuring ongoing support, architectural design, and custom dev activities as well as responsibilities for enhancements, upgrades, data conversations, release updates, and reporting for multiple departments. Manage the maintenance of the ERP, HCM solution architecture documentation that includes Business Capability Maps, Business Process Flows, solution architecture, core concepts and key decisions. Managing enhancements of business processes and driving operational efficiencies across the organization.
- Provides technical and thought leadership around cloud technologies and ecosystems, including Financial, Procurement & HR cloud data architecture and integration, and can guide the team in terms of exploring new and emerging business solutions. Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience. Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed. Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer. Manage the Software Development Life Cycle to Ensure that all delivery activities are performed in an efficient, quality, and compliant manner.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the administration of the Salesforce.com. Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders. Manage relationship with multiple vendors and ensure accountability and quality of delivery by reviewing KPIs and other performance metrics on a regular basis. Administer system security ensuring users are granted appropriate and approved access. Ensure up-to-date documentation of system functions, processes, and capabilities.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Experience with at least one full large scale ERP implementation is required.
- Hands on experience in HCM and ERP systems e.g Oracle, SAP, Workday, SuccessFactors, JDE, etc. is required.
- 5+ years of experience leading large-scale end-to-end platform implementations and systems consolidations in a fast-paced software business using appropriate SDLC methodologies in an ERP environment (Oracle Fusion, UKG, etc) is required.
- 5+ years of experience in managing processes for environment management and integrity, security, pipeline management, code integrity, compliance, release management is required.
- 5+ years of experience in platforms (HCM, EPM, Financials) with hands-on experience and advanced technical knowledge of configurations and standard practices is required.
- 5+ years direct people management experience is required.
- Previous experience managing configurations and confidential data with Workday or other HCM suite of systems and ADP Payroll Integrations is required.
- Experience working with technical and functional resources is required.
- Experience with preparing and adhering to a budget is required.
- Previous experience of having overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending, and implementing change is required.
- Experience in change management and governance is required.
- Ability to travel 5%.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud platforms (HCM, EPM, Financials) with hands-on experience and advanced technical knowledge of configurations and standard practices is highly preferred.
- An agile based delivery methodology is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing industry is highly desired.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of SDLC and agile best practices and techniques.
- Interface and partner with C-level Executives and Senior Management.
- Ability to understand the business, business needs and identify areas that can be optimized.
- Demonstrated ability working on complex issues of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
- Ability to think critically, solve problems, make decisions, and build trust across the organization.
- Ability to guide team on multiple tasks and deliver results with aggressive timelines.
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Translating requirements into technical solutions.
- Having a developer background and skill sets like Java, Python are a huge plus.
- Using analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and showing attention to detail.
- Leading with a positive attitude and willing to work outside normal hours to troubleshoot high priority issues when needed.

- Salary Base Range of $151,198.00 - $200,828.25*
- Annual bonus (based on the incentive program terms and conditions)
