Position Summary:
The IT Infrastructure Manager is a key role within Information Technology at Ventura Foods. The IT Infrastructure Manager is a new position that aligns with the Corporate Strategic Plan to expand and elevate IT functionality in support of Ventura Foods’ strategic growth initiatives. This role directly supports the IT Director of Infrastructure and Operations and collaborates with the Director of IT Services.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- The IT Operations Manager will define, develop, implement, and optimize the processes and tools required to manage the IT Infrastructure environment. This individual manages the Technical and Project Support Services (TSSP) staff exercising the required expertise in planning, organization, communication, and performance for the department.
- This role will also oversee the department’s day-to-day operations, systems management, including deployments, allocation and execution of licenses and certifications, and related control processes. This role is responsible for identifying and recommending process improvement opportunities in the environment.
- This role works closely with the IT Leadership Team, IT delivery teams, key business leaders, and with Plant Operations/Engineering leaders to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds best practices. The IT Operations Manager will optimize service delivery in alignment with the IT project portfolio.
- IT Operations Manager will participate in the project planning process working closely with the IT PMO department to ensure all projects under this role are managed in a consistent, reliable, and accountable fashion.
- IT Operations Manager will interface and collaborate with Plant Management Staff to coordinate plant related project work, daily operational support as required.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent certification and experience.
- 5+ years experience either overseeing or running day to day operations, regarding systems management, technology deployments and related control processes.
- 1+ year of demonstrated experience leading a support staff in a manufacturing environment, directly or indirectly in a project aspect.
- Demonstrated experience running tools and processes for a technical environment.
- Ability to travel 30% across the United States & Canada.
- Open to relocation for future growth opportunities is highly preferred.
- 10+ years of prior data processing experience in related service functions and duties is preferred.
- 5+ years of prior management experience is desired.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience in telephony/mobility communications. Preferred
- Demonstrative written, oral communications and interpersonal skills required. Required
- Advanced knowledge of information systems management, Microsoft product management. Preferred
- Unified Communications / collaboration, networking.
- Working knowledge of IT Security as related to operations. Preferred
- Working knowledge of manufacturing related IT/OT support functions. Preferred

- Salary Base Range of $137,100 – $181,000 for Employees Located in California*
- Annual bonus (based on the incentive program terms and conditions)
*The “base salary range” provided above is a good faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this position. The range provided is for California-based employees as Ventura Foods is required by California State Law to post pay rates. Ventura Foods reserves the right to pay outside of the given range based on a variety of factors including but not limited to: candidate skills and experience, complexity of the job, budgetary factors, and location/geography.
