ERP Implementation Specialist

Position Summary:

Assists planners in the implementation of JDE. Acts as a liaison between plant sponsor team and the plant employees  Evaluates planning and scheduling needs, and coordinates with system analysts to configure those needs in the system. Plans and executes on delivery and implementation plans, and tests and troubleshoots final system set-ups.  Provides training and end-user support during and after the implementation process. Provides assistance in scoping projects and developing solutions.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Scope and develop the design, implementation, maintenance and support of JDE planning business function. Contribute to the development, application and continuous development of common methods and procedures within planning teams. Develop and maintain effective relationships with planners to ensure effective transfer of knowledge and business process. Ensure high-quality support for the planning business function.
  • Hands-on end-user training delivery and post go-live support.
  • Review business and system gaps and build solutions to improve the performance of planning business function
  • Collaborate and support project team members, external vendors; including consultants, contractors, etc.
  • Travel Requirements: This position requires a minimum of 50% travel. The successful candidate will be expected to travel regularly to various locations as part of their role to meet the demands of our dynamic work environment and customer needs.

Education and Experience:

  • Requires a bachelor degree and 4 years of experience in production planning and material planning.
  • Requires 2 years of experience as core user of JDE planning module.
  • Experience in CPG/Foodservice industry is preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Effectively work with the IT implementation team towards the common goals of the department
  • Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate business knowledge
  • Proven technical problem solving and attention to detail while being thorough and accurate in work performance

  • Salary Base Range of $100,665 – $110,000 for Employees Located in California*

*The “base salary range” provided above is a good faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this position.   The range provided is for California-based employees as Ventura Foods is required by California State Law to post pay rates.  Ventura Foods reserves the right to pay outside of the given range based on a variety of factors including but not limited to: candidate skills and experience, complexity of the job, budgetary factors, and location/geography.  Ventura Foods conducts regular reviews of compensation ranges and therefore reserves the right to alter this range at any given time.
