Position Summary:

Business process analyst provides process mapping, process analysis, requirements assessment, gap/fit analysis and documentation experience to support the development of enterprise wide business process optimization and transformation efforts.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Analyze, define and document current and future state business processes as well as associated business requirements.
  • Develop, administer and maintain enterprise wide business process glossary, classification and taxonomy aligned with process classification framework.
  • Capture, document and communicate business process metrics, measure cycle times, and KPIs.
  • Facilitate and lead functional process mapping meetings and brainstorming sessions. Facilitate discussions of business process changes and collaborate with process stakeholders, functional and technical teams and project managers to define and execute improvement programs.
  • Document, maintain, and share best practices, provide guidance and recommendations for process improvements and potential solutions.
  • Translate and communicate requirements effectively and ensure proper coordination between technology teams and the process stakeholders.
  • Support the teams to develop business cases, define risks and opportunities arise from business process analysis efforts and manage performance improvement projects. 
  • Recommend innovative business and technical solutions to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Prepare and provide documentation and support training sessions on new processes and systems.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering is required
  • 2+ years’ experience in managing and leading business process management programs is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in process mapping, standardization and optimization required.
  • Experience in robotic process automation (RPA) is highly desirable.
  • Previous work experience working and collaborating with cross functional teams is required
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preffered
  • Business analysis experience required
  • Organizational change management experiene preferred
  • Advanced level Microsoft Visio experience is required
  • Consulting background from Big 4 consulting firm is highly preffered
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to effectively define and design clear and logical process flows
  • Ability to simplify complexity and provide high level process models
  • Attention to detail and ability to ask smart questions to drive results and deliver detailed cross functional process models
  • Excellent documentation skills required
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with stakehokders  leaders, functional and technical teams
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate process workshops and training sessions
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership and accountability on assigned tasks driving execution through completion
  • Excellent follow up skills with a customer service attitude
  • Strong ability to multi-task (both organize and prioritize) and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills including demonstrated ability to clearly articulate ideas through verbal and written communication
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical aptitude with the ability to apply critical judgment coupled with sound analysis and troubleshooting skills
