Production Controller

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the daily entry of production into Legacy, entry of Short-Interval-Control data into Informance, Updating Overall Equipment Effectiveness reporting, Daily Batch reconciliations, Inventory Control, and miscellaneous production and financial reporting.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enter daily production into Legacy ensuring finished goods and WIPS reported are accounted for.
- Maintain the scan error report and operator error report and other reports as requested.
- Compile and update Overall Equipment Effectiveness reporting by gathering Quality and Production data. Update Share Point site for Chambersburg and report to Finance Manager and Production Manager.
- Verify and compare master vs. pallets to ensure dual scanning procedures followed. Extensive research may be required to retrieve missing information.
- Reviews Spice Room batch sheets to finished goods backflushing to identify usage variances in advance to cycle counts whenever possible.
- Assist in monitoring ALL inventory identifying for slow moving and obsolete.
- Provide coverage as a back-up to Inventory Control Clerks as needed, which will require lift driving, researching usage variances, culprit items, and inventory discrepancies.
- Prepares various Production, Financial and Distribution reports as assigned by the Inventory Control Supervisor or Finance Manager.
- Other duties as required. Responsible for supporting safety and SQF.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Associates degree in business preferred
- Prefer 3 years experience in an accounting or inventory control.
- Computer skills are required, preferable experience in Microsoft Office software and/or Accounting software.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal are necessary.
- Possess good math skills and able to operate 10-key adding machine/calculator.
- Supports SQF Programs.

Physical Demands:
Regularly requires intermittent sitting, standing, walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling. Physical strength and dexterity sufficient to perform the required task(s). Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more with assistance. Additional demands may be required.
Work Environment:
In addition to normal business hours, work schedules may include after hours and weekends as needed. May work outside and in adverse temperatures which include extreme hot, cold, and humidity. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. Must be willing and able to wear personal protective equipment as required by established Company Safety standards. May require work in confined and dark spaces, and at heights in excess of 18 feet for prolonged periods of time.
