Position Summary:
To provide support in the Maintenance department by entering data into a computerized database and maintaining documentation and inventory integrity.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a computerized work order system that schedules work orders to all mechanics. Work order system should track history of work performed, by whom, with how long to complete and action taken. Enter transactions to track the stautus of ordering, receiving, and stocking parts.
- Maintain daily records to support the Preventive Maintenance System for all critical pieces of equipment. Evaluates & upgrades the system on a continual basis.
- Conducts Cycle Counts of sapre parts and supplies to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Generates reports, maintains spreadsheets, forms & documentation, responds to e-mail and files paperwork.
- Assists the Maintenance Mechanics in finding parts, and maintains the Parts Cage in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Drives to pick up parts as needed.
- Evaluates inventory levels, and originates purchase requisitions and/or purchase orders to vendors for parts and services as required.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by the EAM Planner/Scheduler, Maintenance Supervisor, and Maintenance Manager.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED. Experience with PC based maintenance management systems, knowledge of mechanical equipment, electrical instrumentation, mechanical integrity, preventative maintenance is a strong plus.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Well organized, detail oriented individual who possesses excellent oral/written communication and strong PC skills utilizing MS Office/internet.
- Must be able to identify and report any food safety and food security concerns.

Typical shifts are 8-12 hours per day. Additional unscheduled time after hours and on weekends may also be required. Employees must be willing and able to wear personal protective equipment as required by Company policy and/or legal requirements. In addition, certain jobs may require employees to:
- Work outside and/or in adverse temperatures which could include extreme heat, cold, and humidity;
- Be exposed to vibrations, chemicals used in operations, fumes and food allergens (may include soy, dairy and other allergens); and
- Be required to work in confined and dark spaces, and at heights in excess of 18 feet.
