Position Summary:

Support export services for Ventura Food's US export & APAC Co-Packer export businesses. Ensures timely fulfillment of US Export & APAC Co-Packer orders and shipments.  Maintains accuracy of pricing & order details in invoicing, governmental documentation, & regulatory documentation for export orders to clear other countries' port customs offices. 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with customers & US customer service team on US export order processing and invoicing activities.   Expedites export paperwork including regulatory documentation, health certificates, certificate of origination documents, and shelf life extension letters. 
  • Verifies US export production schedules and trucking appointments meet customers due dates for clearing port deadlines.  Tracks progress of QA, regulatory, and governmental paperwork is received by customers in time to clear customs at international ports.
  • Order entry & invoicing of orders into JDE. Tracking timing of production and ship arrivals to APAC countries and communicating details with customers.  Manages forecast of orders.
  • Supports new customer set-ups, credit approval requests, and communicating credit & payment status with customers and internal accounting teams.

Education and Experience:

  • HS Diploma required
  • College Degree preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong customer service background.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing company required.
  • 3+ years of experience working with international customers' order management, freight forwarding, or logistics preferred.
  • General knowledge of international customs & regulatory requirements of export businesses preferred.   
  • Experience using MS Office365, AS400, JDE, Product Commercialization Systems, & MicroStrategy preferred.
