Digital Marketing Specialist


Location: Brea HQ

Position Summary:

The Digital Specialist is responsible for implementing and growing our web presence and online user community. He or she supports the research, project management, execution, and communication surrounding customer-facing content - inclusive of web, social, and outbound communications.  This includes marketing campaigns, product launches, and communications.  As the digital marketing specialist, this individual will help execute, test, and report findings on both ad-hoc and automated trigger-based email marketing programs.  This position reports the digital marketing manager.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Owned Media:    

  • Oversee the development, launch and management of our main websites, with initial focus on B2B
  • Handle all project management aspects, including Oversee content creation timelines, Liaise with internal stakeholders and external agencies to complete daily production tasks on time, track and create detailed scorecards of key efforts and performance metric
  • Email: Manage databases, build audience segmetns and support targeting and personalization efforts. 
  • Grow traffic and users community on our website and social media sites

Earned Media:

  • Develop and implement effective search engine optimization strategies
  • Coordinate content, design, social media, pay-per-click marketing and other activites
  • Optimize website content, landing pages and paid search copy
  • Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects
  • Develop content strategies to promote our brands and marketing initiatives.
  • Support marketing campaigns on content creating and copy writing for SEO

Paid Media:

  • Develop paid media strategies that detail campaign objectives, tactics, rationale, strategy, budget allocation and media selection
  • Manage campaign optimizations while measuring performance and recommending tests
  • Set up campaigns and tests that will yield creative and media insights and performance
  • Provide paid social media recommendations and the necessary trafficking information
  • Support marketing campaigns on Paid Ads, display banner and related marekting content

Analytics / Reporting:

  • Responsible for measuring and reporting performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Responsible for identifying trends and insights, and optimizing spend and performance based on the insights
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Responsible for measuring and reporting performance of Website performance
  • Proficient with digital listening and measurement tools, such as Sprinkler, Social Studio, Brandwatch, Digimind, Google Analytics and other leading programs

Education and Experience:


  • BS and 3+ years digital marketing experience preferrably with a B2B technology, digital marketing agency.  
  • Experience engaging with consumers and knowledge of Social Media channels, including but not limted to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and other upcoming channels.


  • A/B and multivariate testing practices.
  • Google Ad Certified Professional.
  • Strong working knowledge of digital creative capaigns, and trends.    
  • Pardot Specialist Certification a plus.
  • Hubspot or other Salesforce certified desired.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices, experience with SEO reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe photoshop and working knowledge of HTML, CSS.  
  • Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g. Conductor, screaming Frog, Moz, SEM Rush) and web analytic tools (e.g. Google analytics, webtrends).  
  • Proficient with digital listening and measurement tools, such as Sprinkler, Social Studio, Brandwatch, Digimind, Google Analytics and other leading programs  ands-on experience with advertising platforms including DSPs, Google ads and lead buys.
  • Working understanding of paid digital media. Working understading of email marketing.
  • Hands-on experience creating/executing multi-platform digital marketing/media campaigns.  
  • Data driven and goal-oriented.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.  Attention to detail.
