Position Summary:

The manufacturing Coordinator position will serve as a conduit between the data of our operation (line performance, weight control, oil inventory, labor variances, project/action item management) and the Supervisor/Leadership (Leads) team on the floor.  This position will also serve as an entry opportunity to Line Supervision through the assignment of various team management, WCM tool development, leadership classes/emphasis and the understanding of systems, processes and capabilty through the completion of daily data compilation.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily and Weekly develop reports and assist in determining trends and analysis with the management and line teams in the areas but not excluding: SIS/OEE, Labor Variance, Oil Inventory (Scrap, inedible, tank farm inventory), Fats and Weights, Schedule adherence, and mixing accuracy
  • INFORMANCE Super User - Develop base reports, create workbooks, queries, and data validation
  • Lead data tracker and report generation for all Plant WCM projects, team member of FI teams, developer of OPL with WCM team and Plant leadership.  Including FAT and startup curves
  • Work with L&D for report and training manual developments
  • Participate as key member in the DEMAIC process (measure) with data collection and analysis, often using EXCEL and Minitab - Works cloisely with the Production Manager in report generation
  • Conduct Area/Line Equipment audits - LAP audits/GEMBA walks
  • Action Item Tracker, Slide creator for Busness plans, Town Halls, QBR's and VIP visits. 

Education and Experience:

  • College Degree preferred 
  • Familiar with AS400 system - preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must possess good math and reading skills
  • Advanced understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite, focused on EXCEL, Word and PowerPoint
  • Basic understanding of statistical analysis tools and processes – preferred
  • Must be able to multi-task
